I vote in favor of this so long as the associations are of a size complex enough to require cloud computing. Many items suggested can be done on a desktop and distinguishing them is tricky.
I vote for this as long as there is a commitment to get longitudinal clinical data that can be used to track things like outcomes and recurrence. That kind of data is admittedly complex, and perhaps harder to get, but would satisfy the criteria of being complex enough to require cloud resources, as noted by a previous commenter.
This idea seems obvious to me.
